So, hypothetically, we could create a epic city/village in single player and load that into multi-player games?

Would these pre-built things be restricted to a particular location? Some things might be quite flexible in terms of location, but would they be movable?

I just watched the video again; Specific location coordinates are sent to the spawner, so I would assume locations of buildings are set in stone....

Explain how this whole entire system works, also this system works on every part of the map and not particular spots yes?

its quite simple

you use commands to move the spawner

like:

sloc 4900,2500

and then you spawn your unit

spawn 01 scouttower

and then you want to select it using the selectlast (sl) command

sl

and then you can tint it and stuff

size 250

and rinse and repeat

selectlast (sl) is a bit buggy (it seems to be affected by delay, so sometimes if you try it too fast it fails), so we are making autosize / autotint / autoangle commands so you don't have to use sl

basically, it's just a bot that types out commands (narks is still working on the program user interface to make it more friendly)

Oh. I have a logitech G11, so basically I could hit a G-macro key and I would get the same result? Macro keys are also basically 'bots that type out commands'

well, with the selectlast (sl) command, there is a bug

basically, delay can affect this command, if you use it, sometimes it is a second or two before the units are actually selected

if the bot goes too fast then it's obvious what will happen - so the bot we wrote will compensate by waiting a second whenever the "sl" command is used - this can be varied - you can see it in our video

we actually had a problem with trying this online - we had to increase the delay to 2 seconds! long time, but still very quick builder

of course, if you use the autosize, autotint, autoangle, autocolor commands, you might not need to use the sl command at all!

i kno :P

that was actually the leaked 1.04 mountains map rofl

so you can actually do that already (if you have a macro thingiy to write commands)
