First off I'd like to say: Hai, I'm Evil, retired SotDRP player and ex-chieftain of Clan FoNW/LAoD.

And then i'd like to discuss mountains 1.04, personally like to say the fact the terrain cmd works properly, the thing you did with the quests, and the manuals: All awesome!
And second... With Weyrlings save system, and your edits to the whole maps... Ðamn it would be nice if those would be together in 1 map...
So i'd like to suggest a truce, co-operation, and totally awesome RP?

I do not see the point in "save codes". The save system Krynvelhat and I have implemented is far superior.

Which method is easier to create a city with?

With save codes, you are forced to use their system - a slow system which requires you to select each unit and derive a save code from it (or something like that).

With actual commands, you can have creativity - you will eventually find people who can create scripts without actually even needing to build some of the city. It may be more difficult, but it also rewards those who have greater technical skill.

It also allows you to modify your build script after it has been completed, while save codes are rigid and it becomes difficult.

Furthermore, save codes have limited capability - they cannot create doors, trees, terrain, sfx, afx, add abilities, etc, while this system can.

Ah, well i didn't know you had such a system.
Still i wonder why there have to be 2 seperate branches of SotDRP games, as to where co-operation would produce far greater games...
I'm also curious as to why you left the project in the first place.

Blackcat and his gang of faggots left Lord_Anarki because of his "Habbits" per say. That or Lord_Anarki just didn't want em on the team anymore. (Can understand why..) They formed a new team and started making different SotDRP maps. (Vanguard and Maelstrom) Lord_Anarki didn't care much for SotDRP (Still doesn't.) but yet still works on it in spite. To sum it all up, Blackcat and his team are fags.

I never actually said Smartman was correct.

I don't really have anything against Blackcat, I just don't like working with him, and I don't like a lot of the ideas he contributed, but I respect him for helping me cofound the map.

Samurai_Jakku, I can't really say anything about him; I don't really know him at all, so I don't have beef with him.

Now, the reason I left, was I was getting sick of the retards that would flock to this game, and it never occurred to me to hire nazi admins. So I nuked these forums.

Now, all those retards have settled on the "new" forums. If they even tried to move here, I'd promote Smartman to admin, and he'd have a fun time mass banning.


The reason I am still working on this project, is mostly to spite them; I find it amusing that they hate me, yet they still play my maps. I just want to remind them of that fact. A little of the reason is personal interest; some of these features, mostly the build macro system, I have really been wanting for a long time.
